Sarawak and Sabah Trip 5 Days 4 Nights Itinerary

Re-viewing back my photos of the Borneo Trip, I realized that I did not jotting down in my territory here. The Borneo trip was overdue for more than a year as I went to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu during 24th - 28th August 2013. Borneo is a large island which is divided among the three countries Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. Kuching is the capital of Sarawak while Kota Kinabalu is the capital city of Sabah and both are well known tourist destinations.

Kuching tour was more focused on understanding the culture with museums, historical exhibitions and the famous cultural village i.e. Sarawak Cultural Village as our trip destinations. On the other hand, we were getting closer to the nature with the fabulous pristine rainforests (Kota Kinabalu, Poring Canopy Walk and Hot Springs) and crystal clear water at Nexus beach were our choices of eco-tourism.

Sarawak-Kuching

DAY 1

• Lunch at Song Kheng Hai - Belacan mee hoon, cuttlefish rojak

• Strolling along Kuching River, Kuching waterfront and DUN building
• Visiting 50th Year Sarawak Gemilang Exhibition
• Dinner at Premier 101 Food Court

DAY 2

• Oriental Park Restaurant- kolok mee as breakfast
• Semenggoh Natural Reserve and Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

• Jong’s Crocodile Farm

• Annah Rais Longhouse

DAY 3

• Gold Arch Cafe for breakfast
• Kuching Museum
• Cat’s Museum
• Sarawak Cultural Village
